I've applied to work for the PEOPLE of Kirkland, not an ideology, not parties and not politics. My name is Catie; I'm a long-time Kirkland resident and am raising a growing family here - while we work hard every day to make that possible. My professional qualifications for the job are available here. From my day-job in Healthcare Management through raising our daughters to attend LWHS, I believe in accountability. If elected your council member, I'll focus on:

• Public Health and Safety
• Kirkland's Residents and Neighborhoods first!

As many Kirkland community members have experienced in the past few years, while these systems exist many are broken or increasingly compromised by external connections, special interests and pet projects - and it's taking over our local ways of life. We need to restore those local systems like our Neighborhood Associations, Committees, Management and Council Meetings to bring discouraged Kirklanders back into participation and solve the issues we care about - together. Differing perspectives make for healthy discussion, independent thinking and balanced decisions.
